hehe watch a youtube video of one of the devices, it seems like they are talking about something else :P
anoil uses the same chip in many other tablets, custom roms are available because its one of the few china chips manufacturer that release source code for their socs also anoil always released kernel sources.
Well many devices use the same soc as base and custom roms only need a few different drivers to get working on other versions of the tablet (Wlan, Screen driver).
If some dev could get it working we would get a few very capable and cheap tablets with open WebOS.
I will pick up a crystal or fire to get a cheap working android tablet, a webos dualboot would be aweswome in the future.

Ainol Crystal 7 inch tablet

This morning I noticed the sale on Ainol Crystal on MP4Nation, which is a very popular one amongst fellow Ozbargainers, so decided to post. It's a great option for people who are after a 7 inch tablet and the price also includes free Fedex delivery (which arrives in about 2 to 3 days by experience). The tablet comes with Android 4.1 (jellybean on it)
I can vouch for the store, MP4Nation. I've purchased many items from them in the past (earphones and tablets), delivery is fast, customer service is great.
If you apply the coupon code the price comes down to US$108.77 (which is about AU$104.89). But the deal doesn't stop there.
Now I usually ignore bundle purchase offers, but this time there is a really good one for an earphone. If interested, keep reading:
You will notice an option for an earphone bundle. Now one of those is I think a must have for that price: The Brainwavz M2. If you pick it, with the discount code, the total comes down to $131.91 (US$ 136.91). Which is only $27 for the earphones. The earphones sell for about $75 locally (@headphonic and @minidisc). I haven't tried M2s myself yet, but here is the first review I have come across:
Please note that the actual link is for the black model of the tablet. There is also the white one available for the same price, with the same earphones deal:
Don't forget to use the code 'fb2012fiver' and select free Fedex as the delivery option at the checkout.
