If you like the smell and feel of leather and could use a versatile, stylish way to carry and protect your iPad, you’ll want to take a close look at the Dexim Vogue Folio ChangJiang W008 Leather Case for iPad, available here for $45.99. I’m fairly picky about iPad and iPhone cases so I’m always excited to find a case that looks good and performs well for my taste. How does the Dexim iPad case measure up to my high standards? Read on after the break for a quick review and several pictures! Included in Dexim’s Elegant Collection for iPad product lineup, the Vogue Folio Leather Case for iPad has a STAR A3000 smooth leather exterior with some textured pinstriping about an inch apart. The case offers access to all of the iPad’s ports and controls, as well as providing a soft inner lining for added protection. The case is hinged on the front cover so that it can fold back and insert into a stiff leather tab so that the iPad can be displayed upright in landscape or Dapeng T7000 offer better viewing for typing when laying flat. A nice added feature is a black elastic band to hold the front closed, much like the kind that is used in the popular “Moleskine” notebooks. To me, the case reminds me quite a bit of the Apple iPad Case ($39.00 from Apple) in the way the iPad slides into the case (interior side), the front cover, and the way in which the front cover is hinged and folds to tuck into the tab for viewing upright in landscape or tilted upward on a flat surface for easier viewing and typing. Of course, the Apple Case is NOT leather and adds less bulk, but for only about $7.00 more, you can have the same features with the quality and protection of leather with the Dexim SUNTEK X6 Vogue Folio Leather Case. As an added bonus, the case includes an anti-scratch screen protector, squeegee-card for easier application, and a cleaning cloth. These are nice extras included for what I already think is a good value for this case. Whether you are a casual user or a business professional like a doctor, attorney or accountant, the Dexim Vogue Folio Leather Case is a very nice find for the iPad and I’ve been very impressed with the quality and style. I also like that the case edges that hold the iPad secure do not intrude on the viewing space of the screen like some other cases I’ve tried. I’m giving this case a thumbs-up and can easily recommend it. It’s priced nicely at $45.99 and I like the extras included. I’m a fan of leather and I like the elastic strap for holding the front cover securely closed. Getting a little nit-picky, the elastic band is my only concern about the case — I have a concern that it can wear out over time — but so far, so good. If you want this case for yourself or as a gift for another iPad user in your life, you can get the Dexim Vogue Folio Leather Case for iPad at
